CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

Bookings will only be regarded as confirmed upon receipt of a deposit payment.

Any changes to booking details must be made in writing and will be of no effect unless acknowledged in writing by Pink Grapefruit Catering.

These Terms and Conditions will apply to all bookings whether or not confirmation has been received.

DEPOSITS, PRE-PAY MENTS AND SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS

The Customer shall be required to pay a deposit to Pink Grapefruit Catering. The amount of deposit payable and the required date for receipt of the deposit are set out here:

On booking -50% of estimated spend as deposit, which must be received at least 6 weeks (unless otherwise agreed by Pink Grapefruit Catering management) prior to the event

The final invoice will be sent out before the event and all outstanding balances must be settled prior to or on the event date. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 4% per annum above the base rate of the Bank of England

At the end of the event, the organiser or a nominated representative will sign to agree the closing bar stock (if applicable) where the bar is being charged on consumption. Any queries concerning the accounts or complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the date stated on the invoice.

FINAL NUMBERS

Final numbers for any function must be confirmed in writing, or by email, at least 5 working days prior to the function date. Pink Grapefruit Catering reserves the right to revise its quote at a higher rate should the numbers fall below 20%of the original quote. If actual numbers are less than that agreed 5 days before, the higher number will be charged.

CANCELLATION BY Pink Grapefruit Catering

Pink Grapefruit Catering may cancel a booking without any liability being incurred whatsoever if:

--The venue is closed down due to events and circumstances beyond the control of Pink Grapefruit Catering such as fire, staff dispute or by order of the public authority

--The Customer becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation/receivership

-- The Customer is in breach of any of the terms of this agreement

--Force Majeure: No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to strike,

lockout, accidents, fire, floods, ice, obstruction or other such events beyond the control of

Pink Grapefruit Catering.

CANCELLATIONBY THE CUSTOMER

All cancellations by the Customer are to be made in writing to Pink Grapefruit Catering.

In the event of a booking being cancelled for whatever reason the following charges will be made:

--Less than 1 week 100% of the projected revenue

--Less than 4 weeks 60% of the projected revenue

--Less than 6 weeks 30% of the projected revenue

Any liability to any sub contractors or other direct costs or expenses incurred on behalf of the Client will also be charged to the Client.

Tastings

The company do offer free first tastings in our kitchen or at your address for events estimated over £3000 total with a deposit already securing the date. If a second tasting is required, then charges may be incurred. If it is requested to hold the tasting at the client's chosen venue, then delivery charges will be incurred.

PRICES AND QUOTATIONS

All the prices in the quote are current at the time of going to print, and are exclusive of service, VAT and other government taxes where appropriate.

Pink Grapefruit Catering reserves the right to amend prices to take into account any changes in the rate of

VAT or other taxes. Prices may be subject to change due to availability from the preferred supplier, however Pink Grapefruit Catering will keep the Customer informed of any changes.

All quotes are for the equipment as listed. Should you decide to choose a different item then this will be reflected in the price.

The projected revenue shown is based on the quote received. Some changes may occur dependent on final menu choices and number of guests.

STAFF

The staff cost quoted will provide you with the staff to service your event to the highest standard and is based on the timings specified. Please note that should the finishing time exceed the stated, additional charges may be incurred.

For the safety and welfare of our staff we supply taxis should the event finish after 11.00pm. This cost is chargeable to the Customer.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

The Customer is responsible for any loss or damage to hire equipment, however caused, from the time of delivery until collected by Pink Grapefruit Catering, or sub contractor, or returned by the Customer. Any loss or breakages will be charged at the full replacement cost.

AGREEMENT

The correspondence between the company and the client shall be taken as confirmation of the clients agreement with and acceptance of the foregoing terms and conditions. An exchange of letters /emails constitutes a contract.

We accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any direct, special or consequential loss or other damages howsoever cause or any liability arising from the provision of our Services except in the case of personal injury or death caused solely by our negligence.
In the event we are found liable, our liability shall be limited to the Price which has been invoiced in respect of that particular Event.
